Understanding natural birth patterns is essential for expecting mamas to make informed decisions about their birthing experience. In our latest blog, we explain how the circadian rhythm impacts childbirth timing and how this knowledge can prepare you for birth..Read more in our blog! ⬇️#PregnancyJourney #Childbirth #ExpectingMoms #StorkHelpers #EmpoweredMamas #BirthKnowledge

Do you see any adoption families in your office? My beautiful daughter, happens to have been birthed by another loving woman so I could be her mother! In the pediatric world, I see lots of people and providers approaching adoption and the conversation around adoption in the following ways.1. Ignoring it and trying to treat adoption and adoptive families the exact same way as all families (there is good and bad in that) We do navigate some unique circumstances, and I think it’s helpful to understand that and be aware of that.2. Not understanding how to best support the fears, worries, concerns, and realities that some adoptive families navigate and create a safe place and clinical and brain-based approach that best addresses and supports adoptive families.3. How to best support healthy development, connection, and attachment and address in a healthy way the fear and stigma that many people still place on “adoptive kids” and how it relates to brain development.👉🏼This is an important conversation, especially in the pediatric and family practice model now more than ever.
